stomach ache

pain is wading in my stomach, and so i'm trying to refocus my attention here.

it's week 7! the kids are flying out of the nest next week, and then i guess i'll try to soar to the sky. but i am going to predict my wax wings melting, and i'll be back on the ground figuring what i need to do to just walk.

i have been spending my days off with friends at a small cabin in the woods reading, bbqing and shooting guns.

i haven't been particularly good about sending letters but for affirmation purposes i am so good at thinking about all the people i love and miss. i think about you and you all the time, and how i just want to listen to music with you. how i want to go fishing with you. how i want to sleep next to you and make tea in my underwear with you. and i want to share all my fresh fruit with you, and how good we always look together because we are having so much fun. i think about how if i went a million miles away nothing would ever change my love for you. i miss you and you and you and you so bad.

hello, reporting from vermont week 3! i'm learning how to drive buses, eating fresh bread, and thinking about being 47.

to catch up, i've been in vt working at a farm camp. last night i stayed up a bit because it was a rare evening of clear sky. so alex and i just watched the milky way for a while. what i thought i knew of the north star is really wrong. i thought it was the brightest star in the sky, but really what i was looking at is a planet. the north star is something modest. i probably won't be able to find it again without the help of someone else.




so i hope you can imagine that's it's really beautiful here. very lush, and very green. the weather has been poor with a lot of gray days, some rain and a good dose of humidity. but its been sunning up here since yesterday though, and i hope it stays this way. and like i expected, the kids are great and i'm having a really good time. there isn't that much to do in the area, and all the good places are closed on my days off but that keeps me from spending too much money in town and my head in the books. i'm trying to finish motorman, and the joke.



things that have really got me up have been sailing, snacking, and beer. oh and the people of course.

from grass to glass

full moon, five fireflies, los angeles and the celtics. i'm almost acclimated, and the kids come to camp on monday. i dont really know what to write except that:

i. i tried lifeguard training for a week and didn't pass.
ii. i really enjoy windbreaker to windbreaker contact.
iii.i moved an entire tree (in pieces) and now i feel good.

finding my way home to los angeles///breaking in s.f. (san francisco is beautiful, and it is a beautiful experience to be reunited with my loves and lovers). i've been cozing it up with kittens, gabo and geoff. add claudia for some b ball. smoothies and togetherness//////adolescence////ah, hm//////. got to get the bus and get ready to fly home, and kick out the jams. rumors: you can play games against other people on your flight if you fly virgin america.
